Two-day event promises world-class cats, family fun, expert insight and local shopping at Leatherhead Leisure Centre – 29 & 30 March 2025.
Felinology cat club returns to Leatherhead this weekend for it’s globally affiliated cat show under The International Cat Association (TICA), and will feature dozens of internationally recognised breeds — from Maine Coons and Ragdolls to Bengals, Sphynx and more. Visitors will enjoy live show judging, interactive breed booths, hands-on learning experiences for children, and a lively retail space filled with independent pet brands and feline favourites. What’s in Store at The Great Catsby event:
Cat Show & Judging Rings:
Visitors will have the chance to watch up close as expert international judges evaluate over 30 different breeds, with categories spanning kittens, cats, alters (neutered adults), and household pets. This is a rare opportunity to witness the inner workings of a professional cat show – and learn what makes each breed unique.
Kids’ Zone – Fun for the Whole Family:
New for 2025, the show’s dedicated Kids’ Zone promises a mix of fun and education for younger guests. Activities include:
- A Catbassador Trail where children meet five super-friendly cats and complete a fun quiz to win a prize
- A Mini Judging Ring with toy cats so kids can try their hand at being a judge
- Craft and Colouring Stations, educational games and scavenger hunts around the show hall
- Activity packs designed to entertain and inspire budding cat lovers
Pet education for all:
Thinking about getting a cat, or want to know more about caring for your current one? The TICA Household Pet Booth will be available to teach visitors how any cat – even your family pet – could be a show cat. Breeders and cat owners will be on hand to talk about breed traits, pet care, and the world of cat showing in a relaxed and welcoming space.
Shopping and Local Vendors:
A wide variety of stalls and vendors will be offering everything from handmade cat toys to premium pet nutrition, accessories, grooming products and cat-themed gifts for humans too. Supporting Local Rescue:
Felinology is proud to support The Ginger Cat House Rescue, a Surrey-based cat rescue. Visitors are encouraged to bring donations of cat food, blankets, toys, or litter to the show, or donate directly via their website.
